Mr Kurt Spiteri Cornish is a leading consultant ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon based in Sheffield. His areas of expertise include cataract surgery (including complex cases), vitreoretinal surgery (including retinal detachment, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, vitreous haemorrhage, eye floaters and diabetic eye disease), and general ophthalmology.
Mr Spiteri Cornish qualified from the University of Malta in 2004. His higher specialist ophthalmology training took place in Scotland and he has also completed specialist training in vitreoretinal surgery in Aberdeen. Additionally, Mr Spiteri Cornish undertook a prestigious high-volume fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia, and holds an MSc in Clinical Visual Science with Distinction.
