My whole experience has been second to none in Dr Navaratne's care and expertise. Prior to the operation I received excellent communiaction and any fears or concerns I had were dealt with. On the day of the operation, I must say, that he made time to persoanlly discuss the procedure prior to the operation and indeed reasured me. His aftercare has been excellent and he even called me at home on a Friday evening to check that I had arrived home safely. I definately commend him and his team.

Mr Navaratne, is absolutely fantastic, the most caring, compassionate and exceptionally talented surgeon. His expertise with gallstones and gallbladder problems is phenominal. Thanks to his prompt help, I am finally pain free and recovering well. From the initial consultation to the prompt surgery with amazing care and compassion from all the team. Simply the best! I have never before known such a caring, friendly, considerate, down-to-earth consultant. Lal not only saved my life (laparoscopically!) he ensured I was fully informed and arranged complete coordination of my care. Lal is everything one would wish for in a medical professional, a brilliant surgeon, and a really lovely human being.

I had the pleasure of seeing Mr Navaratne just before Christmas. We spoke on the phone on a Friday and I was scheduled for surgery by the Tuesday after. The level of professionalism was like none other. He made me feel very comfortable and reassured me about my concerns. He was kind, polite and made me feel like I was talking to a friend, which I appreciated very much as I am always nervous about procedures having undergone multiple surgeries in the past. I could not recommend him enough!!
