Miss Luxmi Velauthar is a highly-experienced consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology in London who specialises in fetal medicine and pregnancy complications, including premature pregnancies. She holds a clinical interest in all aspects of gynaecology, such as the treatment of menstrual disorders and menopause.
Miss Velauthar gained her MD at the University of Queen Mary. She then qualified from the University of Dundee and undertook her specialist training in London.
Miss Velauthar is passionate about teaching and teaches and examines undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. She is the Course Director for obstetric ultrasound courses and practical gynaecological laparoscopic training for obstetricians and gynaecologists.
In addition, Miss Velauthar is currently leading charitable projects both locally and internationally to improve women’s health through teaching and training both staff and patients.
