Dr Mahadev Jasti

Dr Mahadev Jasti is a highly experienced consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist who specialises in ADHD, autism and eating disorders alongside mood disorders, personality disorders and self-harm. Dr Jasti privately practises at Priory Wellbeing Altrincham.

Dr Jasti began his medical education at Kuvempu University, J.J.M. Medical College in India, where he earned his MB BS degree in 1997. Following his graduation, he moved to the UK to further his training, undertaking basic specialist psychiatric training in the Mersey Deanery. During this period, Dr Jasti gained extensive experience in treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions, which laid a solid foundation for his future work in more specialised fields.

Upon obtaining his MRCPsych from the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Dr Jasti continued his career as a staff grade doctor with the 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust. Here, he furthered his expertise in managing complex mental health issues across various settings, and he developed a keen interest in forensic services as well as child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).

Dr Jasti's commitment to the field of child and adolescent psychiatry culminated in the achievement of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2009 at the West Midlands Deanery. During this advanced training, he honed his skills in inpatient adolescent services, service development, and the management of neurodevelopmental disorders.

As a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Dr Jasti is actively involved in the ongoing development of mental health services for young people. His work is characterised by a compassionate and holistic approach, with a strong focus on delivering personalised care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
