Mr Philip Mitchell is a leading London consultant orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in hip and knee surgery. From his private clinics across some of the most prestigious clinics in London, he offers a wide range of hip and knee surgery, especially hip and knee replacement and revision surgery where he uses an accelerated postoperative rehab regime to allow early mobilisation and discharge. Mr Mitchell also works as an NHS consultant at St George's Hospital London and is involved in a number of compliance and evaluation panels. He trained in London before spending a year in Vancouver, Canada as part of the fellowship with the Adult Reconstruction team, the premier joint reconstruction fellowship in the world. He is the Medical Director at the South West London Elective Orthpaedic Centre (SWLEOC), which is the largest joint replacement unit in the UK, and has recently served for three years as a council member for the British Orthopaedic Association. Mr Mitchell is a national and international speaker on hip and knee replacement surgery, and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in medical journals.
