Dr R George Ghaly is a consultant in anaesthetics and chronic pain management, based at the BMI Beaumont Hospital in Bolton, Greater Manchester. Dr Ghaly specialises in chronic pain management, cervical, dorsal and lumbar epidurals as well as administering nerve blocks for neuropathic pain. He is also an expert in the administering of general anaesthesia for ophthalmic and orthopaedic surgery.
Dr Ghaly is involved in education and is an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire. He is also an examiner for the Primary Fellowship at the Royal College of Anaesthetists in Dublin. He publishes frequently with more than 45 publications and is a peer reviewer for the British Journal of Anaesthesia.
