Dr Ravi Assomull is a consultant cardiologist and one of the co-founders of the One Heart Clinic on Harley Street, London. He holds a special interest in advanced cardiovascular imaging and coronary intervention, heart muscle disease and sports cardiology.
Dr Assomull undertook his medical training at the University of Cambridge and qualified in 1999. He was awarded a British Heart Foundation Junior Fellowship to fund his MD research in the Cardiac MRI unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
His specialist cardiology training was in the North West London rotation where he was awarded the prestigious Imperial College Interventional Fellowship for two years in succession.
Dr Assomull is the training lead for cardiology in North West London. He appraises current trainees and is regularly called upon to interview junior doctors who wish to be part of the next generation of UK cardiologists. He has developed a training and mentorship program to allow general practitioners (GPs) in his region to acquire and interpret ECGs in their own surgeries.
Dr Assomull teamed up with Dr Fakhar Khan and Dr Sayan Sen to create the One Heart Clinic, a clinic where he uses his own specialist skills alongside those of his highly-experienced partners.
