Ms Renata Hutt has over 20 years' experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. Ms Hutt qualified in the Czech Republic in 1987 and went on to gain further qualifications in the Royal Free Hospital in London. Most of Ms Hutt's postgraduate training was carried out at London hospitals, including Imperial College in Hammersmith, UCL and St George's Hospitals. As well as lecturing undergraduates at St George's, Ms Hutt completed training in ultrasound scanning.
Ms Hutt's areas of expertise include 3D and 4D ultrasound, pregnancy counselling, fetal medicine, pelvic pain and many other areas of obstetrics and gynaecology. Ms Hutt is also trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques used to treat various gynaecological problems, such as pelvic pain and menstrual problems. Spending time training in urology she gained an expertise in treatment of urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse.
As well as working as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, Ms Hutt is also active in research, taking lead on a selection of national studies focusing on areas such as non-invasive prenatal diagnosis.
