Dr Rita Malakian is a top consultant allergist and immunologist based in London and Cambridge. She specialises in drug allergies, allergic rhinitis, and allergen-specific desensitisation therapy. She is a consultant in allergy at the Addenbrookes University Hospital, Cambridge, a Specialist in Allergy & Immunology at the London Allergy Clinic (LAC), and also has teaching commitments, including at Imperial College London.
She graduated with the State DMS in 1972 from the Universita di Padova, and became one of the early members of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology's Standards of Care Committee. Dr Malakian has also been responsible for contributing to national guidelines on the management of allergic conditions, due to her expertise in the area.
