Dr Robert Broomhead is a highly regarded consultant liver transplant anaesthetist at King’s College Hospital London, specialising in adult and paediatric hepatobiliary surgery, liver and multivisceral transplantation (both cadaveric and living related), anaesthesia for major vascular procedures, as well as major trauma and emergency cases.
Dr Broomhead brings a decade of experience in pre-hospital care medicine, having served with multiple UK services. He currently holds the title of Emeritus HEMS Consultant with Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, reflecting his significant contributions to this field. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr Broomhead played a pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic, serving as the clinical lead for anaesthesia at the London Nightingale Project, based at the London Excel Centre.
