Gastric sleeve surgery completed by Dr Agrawal in March 2022. Given reassurance and support if needed every step of the way and thereafter. Changed my life for the better, still 7-8 stone down 2 years later, living a much more comfortable, active life. Support group is so useful!

I opted for a gastric sleeve procedure after years of yo yo dieting. I chose Mr. Agrawal after searching for the procedure close to my local area. I saw all of his reviews and booked a consultation. He explained the procedure, risks and benefits in detail and I felt very well informed. I agreed to go ahead with the surgery in August 2023. The procedure went well and I felt extremely well cared for. Mr. Agrawal has checked in on my progress regularly and I feel well supported. The team are contactable if I have any queries or problems and make themselves available to deal with my concerns. I would highly recommend.

My experience was amazing and Mr Agrawal it is the best surgeon out there, he changed my life into better and i will always be greatful for that , thanks to him i got my life back and i can enjoy life, i lost 35 kg and had a baby as well so definitely helped my fertility problem.

I had my gastric sleeve surgery on the 15th of July with Mr Agrawal. Mr Agrawal was so informative from the minute I first made contact with him. He has always reassured me that he is available to contact should I have any queries. I was very unsure who was the best surgeon to go with when I first looked into having this surgery however I felt Mr A stood out from many others and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with how well I’ve been taken care of since first point of contact. The care I received at Rivers hospital was very good and the nurses have been incredibly helpful following my surgery with any queries I’ve had. Thank you Mr A for everything!

Having had a gastric sleeve operation with Mr Agrawal, I would highly recommend him, as his services and of the team at the rivers hospital were 2nd to none. I carried out a lot of research prior to choosing Mr A, he came very highly recommended and I was very well looked after.

I found Mr Agrawal to be very negative. I completely understand surgeons have to give worst case outcomes but this was beyond ridiculous! He also was 22 minutes late for my appointment but not a word of apology. He was then surprised that I hadn’t been weighed/measured.Not great!

I had my first consultation with Mr A back in April. I was able to ask all the questions I wanted. Mr A spoke me through all the different possibilities and was very open about the pros and cons. I had my sleeve at Spire London in May which went very well. Recovery was great.

Very pleased with the outcome of the surgery and recovery. Dr A was informative, and direct with information which allowed for me to have the facts in order to make the right decision. Mr A is on hand at anytime with advice, and I was impressed about his level of detail.

Good experience and good information with Dr Agrawal and all staff were great lovely. (Waiting was due to Dr delay travel up from London but I was kept informed and checked on regularly by staff. The Rivers needs to invest in some more comfortable chairs in waiting areas)

After struggling with my weight all my life I felt I had no other options than to seek medical intervention. I had my gastric sleeve surgery at Spire London East hospital on the 9th June 2022 and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. From my first consultation with Dr Agrawal up until now (7 weeks post op) everything has been great, I can call/email my dietician and Dr Agrawal and they respond very quickly and are always there to help when I need them. When I went to my first consultation, Dr Agrawal suggested I join the Facebook support group, which I did and I found it incredibly helpful and still do! There are members that are thinking of getting surgery, in the process, have had surgery and are weeks/months and years post op. The support group got me through every process, any questions I had people were always there to advise and help me where they could. I highly recommend joining it. I’m 21 years old and have had problems with my weight for years, I had googled weight loss surgeries and Dr Agrawal explained the options and I decided the gastric sleeve was the best option for me. Surgery day came and everything went amazingly. The nurses were brilliant. I met with the anaesthetist, who was also brilliant and that was it, down to the theatre room I went. I cannot express how Dr Agrawal and all the nurses there helped me stay calm and kept me relaxed. The moment I woke up there was a nurse and my mum waiting for me. I was still a bit out of it because of the general anaesthetic but other than that I felt fine. I am aware that everyone’s experience is different but I would go through it a million times over because of how great I feel now. My life has already changed for the better and i am genuinely so happy with my decision to have the surgery and my choice to go with Dr Agrawal. I weighed 17.2stone the day before surgery and I now weigh 14.8stone (7 weeks post op). Dr Agrawal is so lovely and whenever I saw him in the hospital after surgery he would throw me a thumbs up and check I was okay which meant a lot. I highly recommend Dr Agrawal, he has done an amazing job and has helped me kick start a healthier and happier life.

Mr Agrawal has a great manner where he explains everything around the procedure and recovery process in a simple to understand way. Equally he is quite firm about what you can and what you can't do for a period after the procedure. I enjoy the consultations with Mr Agrawal.

My experience with Mr Agrawal has been exceptional. On detailed advice on all of the pros and cons of any bariatric surgery I decided to have the gastric sleeve procedure. This was to help me regain control of my weight and health, and I believed Mr Agrawal was the best surgeon to help me with this. Mr Agrawal’s requirements are strict but I was happy to comply to get the best results. I had very little discomfort after the procedure and the recovery time after the operation was very quick. The results I have had at now three months post op have been amazing and I am very happy with my decision to have surgery. I have used the Rivers Hospital on several occasions for other procedures, so I felt happy and confident to use them again. My care at all stages was second to none.

From the get go Mr A has been nothing but helpful. He does say things how they are, and is not trying to sell you bariatric surgery, therefore be prepared to hear facts and risks. But he really is a genius and my journey couldn't have gone better!
