Dr Sara Padroni is a consultant ophthalmologist and cataract and refractive surgeon with extensive expertise in cataract and refractive surgery, complex cataract surgery, and post refractive lens replacement.
Dr Padroni completed her medical degree in Rome in 1997 and trained in the UK, including Fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital, in Crete, and at University Hospital of Leicester.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr Padroni has performed more than 8,500 cataract surgeries and 1,000 refractive procedures. She joined Queen Anne Street Medical Centre in 2023, where she uses advanced technologies and techniques.
Dr Padroni offers treatments including implantation of ICL, YAG capsulotomy, and eyelid lesion surgery. She also specialises in corneal refractive surgery, corneal transplants, diabetic eye disease, and retina problems.
