Dr Shahid Ahmad is a highly respected consultant psychiatrist specialising in child and adolescent mental health, in Bury, Greater Manchester. He specialises in anxiety, childhood depression and ADHD, alongside post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and Tourette's syndrome. He privately practices at the Red Rose Healthcare clinic, and is the clinical director for the CAMHS service at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Ahmad’s extensive education includes a CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and an FRCPsych from the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London, along with a Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM) from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ireland.
