- Mr Farid is clearly outstanding in his field. I feel very fortunate to have been treated by him.He communicated my condition clearly along with the best treatment plan in an empathetic way. He also takes time out of his busy day to reply to queries which I greatly appreciate.
- The doctor was very good and highly recommended him .
- Absolutely delighted with the operation and outcome of my paraumbilical surgery with Mr. Farid. From our first meeting, Mr. Farid explained in clear, concise detail what the process would entail and kept me updated at each stage of the process. From my initial position of trepidation (I had avoided surgery for years), I left our pre-assesment completely reassured and certain that I wanted Mr. Farid to perform the operation. Having now recovered from the surgery, I can wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Farid and would encourage anyone considering the procedure to book a consultation with him. In terms of the actual surgery, it is a transformative experience to be finally free of the discomfort of a hernia. With minimal recovery time, I have been able to return to my life pre-surgery and I am both grateful and mindful of the improvements this has brought to my life. After staring at a lump for so long, is a strangely wonderful thing to be able to look down and see a belly button. Thank you again Mr. Farid for your time, care and skill.Doctor's response -Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I'm truly delighted to hear that your experience — from our first meeting through to your recovery — has been such a positive one. It’s perfectly natural to feel apprehensive ahead of surgery, especially after living with a condition for some time, so I’m really pleased we were able to move forward together with confidence. Hearing that the procedure has been transformative for you — relieving your discomfort and helping you return to normal life so quickly — is exactly why we do what we do. I'm especially touched by your closing line; sometimes it's the smallest things that bring the greatest relief. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience, and I wish you well.
- Mr Farid was very kind and professional. He explained everything fully in terms easy to understand. On the day of my operation he visited me along with the anesthetist and the whole team put me completely at ease and I cannot fault the care I also received from the nurses.Doctor's response -Thank you so much for your kind feedback. I’m really pleased to hear that you felt well informed and supported throughout your journey. Clear communication and putting patients at ease are incredibly important to me and the whole team, so it’s wonderful to know this made a difference to your experience. I’ll also be sure to pass on your kind words to the anaesthetist and nursing team — they’ll be very touched. Wishing you a smooth and continued recovery, and thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
- 2.5 weeks post surgery I was still experiencing nausea, dizziness and feeling generally unwell. Mr Farid arranged an interim face to face appointment and further tests to ensure everything was as expected. As a specialist in his field, he's approachable and explained things well.Doctor's response -Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sorry to hear that your recovery was initially challenging — it’s not uncommon to have some symptoms linger after surgery, but it’s important that we take them seriously and act quickly, which is why I was glad we could meet face to face and arrange further investigations.Great to see it all settled quickly. I'm pleased that you felt supported and well informed throughout. Being accessible and responsive to concerns is a key part of patient care, and I'm grateful for your trust during that period.
