Dr Sherif Raouf is a leading consultant oncologist in the Essex area, who practices at the Spire Hartswood in Brentwood, Spire Roding in Redbridge, and The Holly Private Hospital in Buckhurst Hill. Dr Raouf specialises in gastrointestinal cancers, which include the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, colon and anal cancers.
Dr Raouf was awarded his medical degree in 1986. He did his oncology training at Charing Cross, Mount Vernon and UCL hospitals in London. Dr Raouf is experienced in the use of targeted therapies in the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies. His research interests include the epidemiology of cancer and chemo-radiotherapy in cancer management.
He is passionate about treating cancer and believes that cancer patients and their families should be treated with dignity and respect and likes to outlines all available options. Dr Raouf is also a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, member of the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and The American Society of Clinical Oncology.
