Ms Shital Sawant is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, specialising in reproductive medicine in London. Her expertise lies in reproductive endocrinology, minimally invasive surgical procedures, polycystic ovarian syndrome, fertility treatments like IVF, premature ovarian insufficiency, and egg freezing.
Ms Sawant qualified in 2005 from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. She trained and worked as a consultant for a period in India before coming to the UK, where she completed an advanced fellowship in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and undertook further specialist training in assisted conception and reproduction at the Homerton University Hospital in London. In 2017, she became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and in 2018, she completed an additional postgraduate diploma in minimally invasive surgery in France.
