Mr Simon Bridle is a respected consultant hip and knee Surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacement surgery. He also has a particular interest in revision surgery following implant failure, and the treatment of infected hip and knee replacements. He has considerable management background, with roles as Clinical Director for Surgery, Clinical Director for Major Trauma, and Lead for Orthopaedics featuring in his extensive experience. Mr Bridle has participated in several research projects, and has contributed to a number of publications, while running a medico-legal practice where he advises lawyers as a medical expert. He regularly is involved in training for junior doctors and lectures on revision hip surgery, in addition to running the orthopaedic section of the annual Doctors Updates meeting.
