Mr Srijit Banerjee is a leading consultant urologist in central London who specialises in kidney stones, urinary tract infection and laser lithotripsy, alongside phimosis, prostate cancer, prostatitis, benign prostate enlargement and circumcision. He privately practises at The Prostate Centre, HCA UK Canary Wharf and HCA UK at The Shard, while his NHS base is Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust where he is lead for benign prostate hyperplasia/benign prostate enlargement.

- Principal investigator of randomised control feasibility study PrEPAR (Preoperative Exercise Protocol to Aid Recovery) for Radical Cystectomy, jointly undertaken at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation and University of East Anglia. This feasibility study aimed to look at the role of pre-habilitation in patients undergoing major uro-oncological surgery, and its role in enhanced recovery pathways.
- Co-investigator for SUSPEND trial. A recently-completed randomised controlled multi-centre study looking at role of alpha blockers vs. calcium channel blockers vs. placebo in treatment of small ureteric stones.
