Dr Stephen Davies is a highly experienced specialist in restorative dentistry and temporomandibular disorders based in Cheshire, practising at Clinic 334. He provides expert care for patients with complex occlusal and restorative needs, welcoming those requiring routine dental care, advanced restorative treatments, and management of temporomandibular disorders.
Dr Davies qualified from the University of Manchester in 1971 and went on to earn an MDSc in Advanced General Dentistry, as well as a Diploma in General Dental Practice. He is also a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry (FCGD). His clinical focus includes advanced restorative dentistry for occlusal difficulties, periodontal therapy with occlusal considerations, and the management of TMD, reflecting his commitment to addressing complex dental challenges.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Davies is the Lead Clinician at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester’s TMD Clinic, where he combines patient care with teaching and research. He lectures in dental practice at the University of Manchester, has published over fifty papers in peer-reviewed journals, and is co-author of the BDJ Books on Temporomandibular Disorders and Occlusion, sharing his expertise with both patients and the wider dental community.
