Dr Syed Babar serves as a Consultant Radiologist at both Cleveland Clinic London Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Portland Place Outpatient Centre. He also holds the position of honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College London.
Dr Babar is a specialist in radiological imaging for elite athletes, providing expertise to various professional sports organisations. He has collaborated with English cricket league clubs, the Queens Tennis Championship, Saracens Rugby Club, and several football teams across the UK. Additionally, he is the imaging consultant for Isokinetic Clinics, the only sports and rehabilitation center in London recognised by FIFA.
His clinical interests focus on advanced musculoskeletal MR and CT imaging, as well as a range of ultrasound and CT-guided injection techniques, including high-volume stripping and platelet-rich plasma therapies. He has obtained a host of medical qualifications, including a MBBS and a MCPS, respectively. He has, so far in his career, published extensively within peer-reviewed journals and publications.
