Dr Tathagata Das is a respected consultant clinical oncologist based in Sheffield, who specialises in lung cancer and mesothelioma. He privately practises at Sheffield Oncology and his NHS base is Weston Park Cancer Centre for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Das is part of a highly-regarded team of consultant oncologists at Sheffield Oncology, which has been formed from Weston Park Cancer Centre, that provides world-leading non-surgical cancer treatments.  

Dr Das is highly qualified, with an MBBS in Medicine from SCB Medical College in India and an MD in Radiation Oncology. After completing his specialist training at Weston Park Cancer Centre, he became a consultant in clinical oncology. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Radiology (MRCP). 

Dr Das' clinical research has been published in various peer reviewed journals and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP).
