Dr Temi Lampejo is a consultant infectious diseases physician at Cleveland Clinic. He has extensive expertise in respiratory infections, musculoskeletal infections, blood-borne viruses, travel-associated infections, and zoonotic infections.
Dr Lampejo qualified in medicine from Imperial College London in 2008 with an additional first-class honours intercalated BSc in gastroenterology and hepatology for which he was awarded a national liver research first prize from the British Association for the Study of the Liver. He subsequently undertook an Imperial Academic Foundation training post in London followed by training in infection at a number of esteemed medical institutions across London. He then took up a consultant position at King’s College Hospital in London where he currently works as part of the infectious diseases, clinical virology and outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) services.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Lampejo is an active educator who teaches undergraduate students at King’s College London Medical School. As an avid researcher, he has been involved in several research studies, has published in and reviewed for peer-reviewed journals, authored various book chapters, and has presented at national and international conferences.
