Dr Tristan Ramcharan is a leading consultant paediatric and sport cardiologist based in Birmingham. His areas of expertise include sports cardiology, chest pain, palpitations, fainting, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), and advanced imaging techniques such as trans-thoracic echocardiography, to name a few.
Dr Ramcharan originally qualified from the University of Birmingham with Honours. He undertook his foundation and paediatric training in the West Midlands before going on to complete additional sub-specialty training in cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. With a special interest in sports, exercise, and cardiac rehabilitation, Dr Ramcharan is also on the English Football Association’s Sports Cardiology Expert Panel.
