Dr Tushar Kant Sharma is a highly regarded dental sedationist and dentist (operator-sedationist). He primarily sees patients at Chigwell Dental and Anaesthetic Clinic as an associate but he works as a visiting sedationist for a number of other dental practices all across the UK. Dr Sharma's main expertise is in anxiety and pain management of patients in dental practices.
Dr Sharma is competent in all aspects of general dentistry (surgical extractions, endodontic treatment of posterior teeth, apicoectomies and management of medically compromised patients). He is proficient in providing oral sedation, relative analgesia, simple and advanced IV sedation, and intra-nasal sedation. Through his behaviour modification techniques provided for patients in dental clinics across the UK, Dr Sharma has gained vast experience in treating patients with complex medical conditions.
Dr Sharma's expertise allows for procedures such as long cosmetic dentistry surgery, same-day and dental implant surgery, and more complex surgical procedures such as zygomatic implant surgery, to be performed as smoothly as possible.
