He works in private practice via e-Consultation. His clinical approach is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapies and integrates a range of evidence-based psychological models.
Will has over 16 years of experience working across both NHS and private settings, providing assessment and therapy for individuals with varied and often complex presentations. He works with adults at different stages of life, including professionals in demanding roles as well as younger individuals navigating early career and relationship challenges. His experience also includes working with individuals on the autistic spectrum, particularly those who are high functioning and seeking tailored psychological support.
His clinical work draws on several therapeutic approaches, including acceptance and commitment therapy, eye movement desensitising and reprocessing, and integrative, attachment-based mindfulness and acceptance models. He has a particular interest in trauma and supports patients in addressing the impact of past experiences on current mental health. His approach focuses on helping individuals understand their difficulties and develop practical strategies to manage symptoms and improve overall wellbeing.
Will completed extensive postgraduate training in psychology, holding an MA, MSc and Post-MSc Diploma, and is a Chartered Psychologist (C.Psychol). Alongside his clinical work, he is actively involved in teaching and supervision. He has been a visiting lecturer in cognitive science at the University of Westminster since 2003 and contributes to the training of future psychologists as a supervisor on the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology programme at City St George’s, University of London.
In his practice, Will aims to provide a structured and supportive environment in which patients can explore their concerns. He works collaboratively with individuals to identify existing strengths and resources, helping them to engage with areas of life that are meaningful to them. His approach is informed by a combination of clinical expertise and an understanding of individual life circumstances, ensuring that care is tailored to each patient’s needs.
