Breast augmentation surgery, otherwise known as breast enlargement surgery, remains increasingly popular in the UK, with many women saying that it helps to boost self-confidence. Breast implants are the most popular kind of cosmetic surgery, with the procedure being not only used to increase the size of the breasts, but also the shape.

Where is the scar, and how big is it?

The entire surgery is performed through an inconspicuous small incision at the bottom of the breast in the breast fold. The incision is 3 - 4.5cm in length.
