Emily Lawrenson
Emily Lawrenson was the UK Content Manager at Top Doctors (2018-2019). Emily has always had a keen interest in languages and the power of words, having studied both English Language and Literature (choosing one was too difficult at the time) at De Montfort University. After graduating, she left the UK and lived in both Spain and South Korea, giving her the opportunity to learn a variety of new languages and skills while escaping the permanent drizzle of North Yorkshire.
Brits certainly have a reputation for being big drinkers. We could probably have stopped at the word ‘reputation’ and you’d have known exactly what we were talking about. While the UK isn’t even in the top 10 in Europe for individual alcohol consumption, or even in the world, we’re known for our boozy habits abroad and our weekend binges, and that reputation doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast.
