Dr Abdul Naliyawala

Dr Abdul Naliyawala is a highly reputable consultant psychiatrist who possesses extensive expertise in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of adult mental health conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, anxiety disorders such as OCD, perinatal mental health conditions, and adult ADHD. He also collaborates with a clinical psychologist to provide assessments for adult autism. Fluent in both Urdu and English, he also understands Punjabi, Gujarati, and Hindi.

Since 2000, he has primarily practised in East Sussex, working across both outpatient and inpatient services while also holding senior leadership positions, including medical director and clinical director. Prior to relocating to the UK, he worked at the renowned Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, where he served as assistant professor of psychiatry.
