Mr Adam Kimble is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon based in South Devon. He specialises in procedures such as colonoscopy and haemorrhoid surgery (particularly the Rafaelo procedure), and is adept at treating issues such as rectal bleeding, haemorrhoids, anal fistula, and pilonidal sinuses.
Mr Kimble qualified from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical Schools at the University of London in 2002, and undertook postgraduate training along the southern coast of the UK and in Australia. His higher specialist training was conducted in the southwest of the UK, where he additionally spent time researching perioperative medicine after major abdominal surgery, which culminated in the award of Doctor of Medicine. Upon the completion of his training, he did a fellowship in laparoscopic rectal surgery at St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester.
Mr Kimble is currently serving as the Honorary Treasurer of the British Association of Day Surgery. He is the clinical lead for general surgery and urology at the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
