Professional statement
Dr Alain Palacci is an experienced General Practitioner with a long-standing career in medicine. He graduated in medicine from St Thomas’ Hospital, University of London in 1986 and went on to complete six years of rigorous hospital-based training. Until recently, he was part of the diabetes department at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton.
Today, Dr Palacci practices at Barnes Private Practice, where he has spent most of his professional life. He has built a team committed to providing compassionate, patient-focused care, both in diagnosing health conditions and in preventive medicine.
Together with Dr Alexandra Strachan, Dr Palacci has shaped the practice’s reputation around the principle that patients always come first. He works closely with Dr Strachan to ensure their registered patients have access to care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
His primary clinical interests include paediatrics and general medicine, with a particular focus on diabetes, men’s health, and child health. Beyond his work in general practice, Dr Palacci has served as a government advisor, worked with the Lawn Tennis Association as a medical practitioner, and held positions on several NHS boards.
