Dr Alex Hashemi

A highly accomplished dental surgeon, Dr Alex Hashemi has undertaken extensive postgraduate education with a strong focus on restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and maxillofacial surgery. He graduated with a DDS from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, and has since committed his career to continuous professional development, advanced clinical training, and academic research.

After completing his initial qualification, he pursued comprehensive postgraduate training at Eskilstuna Hospital in Sweden, where he gained hands-on experience through rotations in maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry. His academic journey continued in London at the Eastman Dental Hospital, where he achieved a Master of Science in Restorative Dentistry alongside a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry.

Dr Hashemi has a strong interest in orthodontic research and treatment methodologies, highlighted by his publication titled “Orthodontic Treatment of Children with Homocystinuria.” He has also completed advanced training in maxillofacial orthopaedics, osseointegrated implants, and restorative dentistry, working closely with respected specialists including Dr E Sher and Dr Michael Wise.

His commitment to advanced education led to the completion of an MSc in Restorative Dentistry at UCL London in 2012, followed by an MSc in Dental Implantology from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid in 2024. Dr Hashemi is an active member of several prestigious professional organisations, including the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), the Clinical Foundation of Orthopedics & Orthodontics, and the British Dental Health Foundation. His dedication to lifelong learning ensures he remains at the forefront of modern dental practice and patient-centred care.
