Dr Annabelle Banks

Dr Annabelle Banks is a highly respected and experienced consultant psychiatrist in London, who specialises in sleep disorders, burnout and complex PTSD, alongside work stress, imposter syndrome, low self-esteem and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Dr Banks privately practises at Maudsley Private Care, while she also serves as the NHS consultant psychiatrist for staff wellbeing services at South London and the Maudsley Hospital (SLAM) and Acute Trusts across South-West London. Dr Banks is also an Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist for Occupational Health at St Georges University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trusts.

Dr Banks is highly qualified, graduating from University College Hospital and the Middlesex Hospital (London) with her primary medical qualification, MBBS. During her training, she also graduated with a BSc(Hons) in the History of Medicine, at University College London and the Wellcome Institute. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and has the Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed).
