Dr Anton Bass is a leading American-trained orthodontist, based in London. With over 20 years of experience, Dr Bass is highly experienced in providing world-class orthodontic treatment for all age groups, dento-facial orthopaedics, lower jaw development, aligner therapy and aesthetic orthodontics.
Dr Bass graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in London in 2001. He then went on to receive his Master’s degree in Clinical Orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania, USA in 2007, writing his thesis on 3D cone beam tomography of the face.
He gained unique insight into the orthodontic speciality from his father, Dr Neville Bass. An Internationally renowned Orthodontist, former President of both the British Orthodontic Society and the prestigious Angle Society of Europe, Dr Neville Bass has been an invited lecturer around the world and has published in many of the leading Orthodontic Journals on his advanced orthodontic techniques and theories of facial development.
Dr Anton Bass treats all ages, treating patients from around 8 years of age to teenagers and adults, using the latest rapidly evolving 3D digital orthodontic technology and remote monitoring. The patient's own mobile phone and AI are used to reduce the required number of visits to the practice, while maintaining high-quality results.
Dr Bass has a special interest in children's early interventional treatment and adult treatment, including removable ‘invisible’ aligner braces. He has a particular expertise in treating facial growth problems in the younger child, to develop the most attractive profile and smile.
He is a recognised specialist in Orthodontics by the British General Dental Council and has been certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr Bass is an active member of several prestigious dental societies, including The American Dental Society of London, for which he has served as the Honorary Secretary, the London Dental Fellowship and the Alpha Omega Dental Society.
He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the British Orthodontic Society and the World Federation of Orthodontists
