Dr Ashwyn Roy

Dr Ashwyn Roy is a dedicated dentist and the owner of Smile Serenity Dental Care in Leicester. He qualified as a dentist in 2017 from Universidad Europea in Valencia, Spain, and has since built his career around providing state-of-the-art dental care in a welcoming, judgement-free environment.

His strong academic background began with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from Manchester Metropolitan University, which he further complemented with a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology with Merit from the University of Salford in 2024. Dr Roy’s clinical philosophy is centred on patient comfort and the use of modern technology to “take the fear out of dentistry.”

He is particularly passionate about making dental care more accessible and empowering patients through education. As part of this commitment, he actively engages with the public through online dental education. Through his Ash the Dentist TikTok platform, he hosts weekly live Q&A sessions, helping to simplify complex dental topics, explain procedures, and address common oral health concerns in an approachable and easy-to-understand way.
