Mr Borzoueh Mohammadi is an experienced consultant upper gastrointestinal and general surgeon, specialising in robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgery. He graduated from the Royal Free Hospital in 1999 with Distinction, with numerous academic prizes throughout his training. After completing his higher surgical training in London, Mr Mohammadi was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at University College London Hospital (UCLH) in 2013. He holds leadership roles as Director of Robotic Upper GI Surgery at UCLH, Chair of the Oesophagogastric Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and Co-Director of the Oesophagogastric Cancer Pathway Board within the London Cancer Alliance. Additionally, he serves as an Honorary Associate Professor at UCL.
Mr Mohammadi has expertise in managing complex cases, often referred to him from tertiary centres.
