Ms Christella Antoni

Ms Christella Antoni is a distinguished consultant speech and language therapist based in London who specialises in adult speech, voice and communication disorders. Her areas of expertise include speech sound disorders, voice disorders, vocal cord nodules, vocal cord paralysis and spasmodic dysphonia. In addition, she focuses on voice modification techniques, including voice feminisation and voice masculinisation, as well as singing voice restoration.

Ms Antoni offers private consultations at Welbeck and 85 Wimpole Street, where she leads a specialist voice practice. With over 35 years of experience, she has assisted hundreds of professional and non-professional voice users, helping them refine and develop their speaking or singing voices to achieve their full potential. Patients benefit from her extensive expertise both through direct consultation and through the work of clinicians within her team who are trained in her approach. As a leader in her speciality, Ms Antoni has also worked as national advisor for the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

In clinical practice, Ms Antoni served 15 years as the lead clinician for voice at Charing Cross Hospital and the London Gender Identity Clinic. She holds an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy and Pathology from University College London (UCL), along with certification in VoiceCraft and Post-Qualification Dysphagia Training from Manchester Metropolitan University. Ms Antoni is also a visiting lecturer in transgender voice at UCL.
