Mr Dafydd (Taff) Edwards

Mr Taff Edwards is an esteemed consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon based in central London, renowned for his expertise in carpal tunnel surgery, elbow arthroscopy and hand surgery. He is also highly skilled in treating conditions such as hand arthritis, tendon injuries, and trigger finger. He privately practises at Cleveland Clinic London Hand Unit. He works as a group and the patient will be assessed upon their appointment request, triaged by the group and seen by the best specialist in the group according to their problem. His NHS base is Barts Health NHS Trust.

With a dedication to providing comprehensive and compassionate treatment, Mr Edwards brings a wealth of experience to his practice. He underwent advanced training with the British Society of Surgery to the Hand (BSSH) at Wrightington Hospital, where he specialised in wrist/hand surgery, hand/wrist/elbow sports injuries, complex elbow reconstruction, and peripheral nerve injury. He holds a research doctorate from Imperial College London, where he was awarded, The Alexander Medal Presented by Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, and the Premier Award of the British Army medical services for his outstanding professional work.

Mr Edwards is a senior lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, where he shares his knowledge and expertise with future healthcare professionals as the leader of the Master in Trauma course.

He is also a member of professional organisations such as the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Society of Surgery to the Hand.
