With over 35 years of surgical experience and countless successful implant placements, Dr Hoshyar is recognised for his precision, innovation, and artistry in creating natural, long-lasting smiles. For patients with metal sensitivities or biocompatibility concerns, he also offers metal-free zirconium oxide implants and restorations, reflecting his biological and health-focused approach to modern dentistry.

His passion for dental artistry and fine implantology is rooted in his background in craftsmanship as a former goldsmith and his lifelong love of music as a passionate pianist — influences that continue to shape his precision, creativity, and patient-centred philosophy.

A graduate of Umeå Dental School in Sweden (1990), Dr Hoshyar began his career with a vision for innovation. Early on, he researched alternative dental materials, pioneering the use of porcelain inlays instead of amalgam fillings, and soon became known as the “amalgam-free dentist to go to.” He also completed the equivalent of four years of postgraduate education in Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, ENT, and Oral Surgery through combined university attendance.

In 1996, he moved to London, where his dedication and expertise led him to establish and manage four highly regarded dental clinics across the city before dedicating his work to metal-free, minimally invasive implant and restorative treatments designed for long-term comfort and health. He now devotes his work to his only current practice — the Stunning Smile Clinic in West London, a complete centre for oral rehabilitation. Dr Hoshyar also serves as a visiting implant surgeon in several leading clinics across London, Kent, and Surrey.

He holds numerous postgraduate certificates, among them in Straight Wire Fixed Orthodontics (2004), an Advanced Certificate in Implant Surgery and Restorative Dentistry (2008) from the Eastman Dental Institute, and an MSc in Implantology. He has also been an Invisalign provider for over 10 years.

Over the past 28 years in the UK, many of his patients have continued to return for their ongoing care — with most recommending him to their friends and family, a testament to his precision, innovation, and consistent clinical excellence.

Outside the clinic, Dr Hoshyar remains true to his creative roots. A nature lover who enjoys horse riding, playing the piano, and singing, he continues to find harmony and inspiration between his artistic passions and professional life.
