Mr Darren Clark is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the knees and hips. His practice is located at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital, where he focuses on robot-assisted knee and hip replacements,. In addition he regularly performs partial, total, and revision knee replacements and arthroscopic knee surgery and total hip replacement.
Mr Clark qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1991 and completed training in the West Midlands Orthopaedic Rotation. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. In 2004, he was appointed a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, and in over two decades, he has performed over 3000 joint replacements.
In addition to his practice, Mr Clark is the Clinical Lead and Governance Lead for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Wye Valley NHS Trust.
In the past Mr Clark has held the positions of Chairman of the Medical Accreditation Committee at Hereford Nuffield Hospital from 2012 to 2019 and Director of the Surgical Business Unit at Wye Valley NHS Trust from 2008 to 2011.
