Dr Dharamveer Basude is a distinguished consultant paediatric gastroenterologist, hepatologist, and nutritionist based in Bristol. His areas of expertise include coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD), chronic abdominal pain, and gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy.
With over 25 years’ experience, Dr Basude consults privately at Spire Bristol Hospital. He also practises at Bristol Children’s Hospital since 2008 and notably, he serves as the department clinical lead and lead for endoscopy at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Basude originally qualified with an MBBS from the University of Health Sciences in 1995. He holds esteemed membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and was also awarded a Diploma in Child Health. He is a member of various professional organisations, such as the British Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, and actively participates in clinical research as well, focusing on advancing the understanding and treatment of both common and complex paediatric gastrointestinal conditions.
