Dr Eileen Baildam is an esteemed paediatric and adolescent rheumatologist with over 25 years of consultant-grade experience. Based at the Spire Alexandra Hospital in Manchester, Dr Baildam sees children and teenagers with a range of conditions including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, schleroderma, systemic lupus, hypermobility, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and juvenile vasculitis.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Baildam is heavily involved in charity work and is on the Chair of Trustees for Claire House, a children's hospice based in Wirral. She runs a medico-legal practice and consults on a part-time basis at Alder Hey Children's Foundation NHS trust, where she is involved in paediatric rheumatology research. Dr Baildam's research is widely cited in rheumatology literature, and she is currently involved in several active studies.
