Dr Eleni Besi is a distinguished consultant oral surgeon based in London. She is renowned for her expertise in extractions, dental bone grafts, apical surgery, dental implants, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), and conscious sedation, amongst many other areas of dental care.
Dr Besi graduated with honours in dentistry from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece in 2010. She went on to undertake training at various locations in the UK, including Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals, and the Edinburgh Dental Institute, obtaining certifications in surgical and prosthodontic implantology and clinical education from the Eastman Dental Institute at University College London. Dr Besi has also attained a Master's in oral surgery from the same institution and a doctor's degree in dentistry from the University of Edinburgh. She currently serves as a consultant oral surgeon at Queen Mary University of London, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, and sees private patients at the revered Bespoke Dental clinic in Fulham.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Besi is actively involved in research and education. She holds the positions of senior clinical lecturer and lead of the oral surgery undergraduate programme at Queen Mary University of London, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. She is an appointed member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and the Oral Surgery section of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
