Ms Francine Ryba

Ms Francine Ryba is a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon with expertise in conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face and neck. She sees private patients at Cleveland Clinic London Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Portland Place Outpatient Centre and also works as a consultant maxillofacial surgeon at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Ms Ryba qualified as a dentist in 2002 before qualifying in medicine in 2009. She subsequently completed higher specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and was appointed as a consultant at King’s College Hospital in 2018.

Her clinical practice covers a broad range of oral and maxillofacial conditions and procedures, with particular interests in orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, facial trauma, facial reconstruction, salivary gland disorders and minimally invasive salivary gland procedures. She also has expertise in sialendoscopy and the retrieval of salivary gland stones, as well as surgery for facial skin cancer and other head and neck conditions.

Ms Ryba also performs jaw surgery for patients with sleep apnoea, alongside other procedures designed to address facial asymmetry and complex conditions affecting the jaws and face. At King’s College Hospital, she treats both adults and children and undertakes a wide range of oral surgery procedures.

In addition to her clinical work, Ms Ryba has contributed to medical research and education, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters and experience presenting at professional conferences. Her areas of clinical interest include salivary gland disease, salivary stones, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, head and neck skin cancer and sleep apnoea.
