Mr Gavin Schaller is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist focus on hand and wrist surgery. He earned his medical degree from Imperial College London and completed his specialist training in trauma and orthopaedics through the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital training programme in London.
Mr Schaller further advanced his expertise through dedicated fellowships in both plastic and orthopaedic hand and wrist surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and the Chelsea & Westminster Hand Unit. He holds the European Diploma in Hand Surgery and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics, as well as a member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Mr Schaller manages the full range of hand and wrist conditions, including traumatic injuries, sports-related issues, arthritis, Dupuytren’s disease, and nerve compression syndromes. His practice is guided by a patient-focused philosophy, prioritising clear and open communication to help patients understand their diagnosis, recommended investigations, and treatment options.
