Mr Gianmarco Isgro

Mr Gianmarco Isgrò is a consultant urological surgeon in Stockton-on-Tees, who specialises in robotic surgery, prostate cancer and bladder cancer, alongside benign prostate enlargement (BPH), transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), nerve sparing prostatectomy, retzius sparing prostatectomy, and advanced prostate cancer treatment. He privately practises at Nuffield Health Tees Hospital, while his NHS base is South Tees NHS Foundation Trust, where he works at James Cook University Hospital.

His clinical expertise also includes the management of benign prostatic enlargement, lower urinary tract symptoms, erectile dysfunction, phimosis, hydrocele and varicocele.

Mr Isgrò also offers further diagnostic and surgical treatments, including prostate screening, orchidectomy, epididymal surgery, vasectomy and biopsy of penile lesions. Furthermore, he has expertise in female urology and provides tailored treatment plans to address both functional and symptomatic conditions.

After graduating in medicine from the University of Bologna in 2007, Mr Isgrò completed higher surgical training in urology and gained specialist qualifications including FEBU (Fellow of the European Board of Urology) in 2018 and FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons during his training at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, in 2021. He's a member of the European Association of Urology (EAU).
