Mr Haitham Teleb

Mr Haitham Teleb is a consultant urological and robotic surgeon at Spire Cardiff Hospital. He specialises in treating benign prostate enlargement, prostate cancer, bladder problems, foreskin issues, testicular lumps, urinary tract infections, and kidney cancer. He is a certified laparoscopist and is skilled at performing minimally invasive surgical procedures.
Mr Teleb qualified from the University of Alexandria in Egypt in 2008, soon after became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010. His training was undertaken along the West of England, and he returned back to Egypt to pursue his master’s degree in urology, which he completed in 2015. During his time at the University of Alexandria, he performed as an assistant lecturer of urology. Mr Teleb became a fellow of the RCS in 2018.
Mr Teleb was appointed consultant urological surgeon in 2020 by the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. He is the Welsh lead of the national Kidney Cancer Audit for the Wales Cancer Network, and the Urology Quality & Safety lead at University Hospital of Wales.
