Mr Hasan Ahmed

Mr Hasan Ahmed is an extremely proficient consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in wrist fractures, rotator cuff repair, carpal tunnel syndrome, elbow surgery, hand surgery, and shoulder replacements, along with many other trauma and orthopaedic-related injuries, conditions, and surgical procedures. He currently practises at the Spire London East Hospital, the Spire Hartswood Hospital, Harley Street Specialist Hospital as well as The Holly Private Hospital, all based in London. He is part of the OS Clinic.

Mr Ahmed, who is nothing short of an expert when it comes to the management of complex shoulder injuries and arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery, successfully completed an MBBS in medicine at the King Edward Medical College in Pakistan in 1987, before obtaining an MCh in orthopaedic surgery from the esteemed University of Liverpool in 1998. Mr Ahmed, who is also the current clinical lead at Whipps Cross University Hospital, has notably worked with Premier League footballers and professional rugby players throughout the UK. 

Mr Ahmed was first appointed as consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Whipps Cross University Hospital in 2005, after he had successfully undertaken an advanced fellowship training programme in shoulder and upper limb surgery in London. Notably, Mr Ahmed has notably developed and put into practice various minimally invasive surgical methods in relation to complex shoulder fracture fixation. A milestone in Mr Ahmed's mightily impressive medical career came in 2012, when he was selected to provide his trusted, skilled, and expert orthopaedic care to high-profile, elite professional athletes for none other than the London Olympic Games.
