Professional statement
Mr Iain McGraw is a versed consultant hand and orthopaedic trauma surgeon with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and an honorary clinical senior lecturer at the University of Glasgow.
He graduated with commendation from the University of Aberdeen Medical School in 2005 and completed his surgical training through the West of Scotland Orthopaedic Training Programme. He subsequently undertook a Fellowship in Hand Surgery, receiving dual training in both Plastic and Orthopaedic Surgery.
His further training includes a Royal College of Surgeons/Ethicon Travelling Fellowship in Hand Surgery in Philadelphia and an AO General Trauma Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch. In 2017, he earned the Diploma in Hand Surgery, awarded by the British Society for Surgery of the Hand and the University of Manchester. Mr McGraw is also a member of the Council of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
