Dr Ishola Agbaje is a highly respected consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery in Belfast, who specialises in male infertility, fibroids and endometriosis alongside in vitro fertilisation (IVF), ICSI and amenorhoea. He privately practices at TFP Belfast Fertility, while his NHS base is Belfast Health and Social Care Trust where he is the andrology director at the Regional Fertility Centre and the HFEA Person Responsible at TFP Belfast Fertility.
Dr Agbaje is also highly skilled in intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and has a particular interest in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), ovulation disorders and reproductive surgery, including the management of tubal disease.
Dr Agbaje completed his medical degree in 1997 (Queen's University Belfast) with distinction in obstetrics, gynaecology, and child health, and was awarded a prestigious gold medal from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) upon receiving his MRCOG in 2002.
He went on to achieve a PhD in 2008, with a focus on male infertility. His academic contributions include numerous published research papers on this subject, which he has presented at both national and international conferences.
