Professor John Duncan is a highly qualified consultant neurologist with private clinics at Spire Manchester Hospital and Queen Square Private Consulting Rooms. He specialises in neurological disorders, neurosonography, ultrasounds, myelograms and electromyography, with a special interest in epilepsy.
Professor Duncan qualified from Oxford University. He is the divisional clinical director of the Queen square division at UCL. Within his role, he has approximately 2,000 cases under his clinical review. He also works for the NHS at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Professor Duncan is highly involved in research, with most of his research surrounding imaging the brain to demonstrate abnormalities in various forms of epilepsy. He is a member of the Epilepsy Society and the British Medical Association. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
